Jayson Brian Schwarz, graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in 1976, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1978. Since that time he has practiced in the areas of real estate law, corporate/commercial transactions, and personal injury litigation.  

Mr. Schwarz is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association. As well, he belongs to the Building Industry and Land Development association (BILD), the Ontario Homebuilders Association and the Canadian Home Builders Association.

He has been involved in international commercial transactions involving various American, Caribbean, African and European jurisdictions. On February 1, 2009, the former Schwarz & Company LLP merged with the Danson law firm to form Danson Schwarz Recht LLP.

Mr. Schwarz is a candidate at Osgood Hall Law School for a Masters in Business Law and is in the midst of completing his thesis after successfully completing the balance of the program.

Jayson Schwarz has appeared before the various Courts of the Province of Ontario, as well as numerous administrative tribunals. Mr. Schwarz has written numerous articles in the Real Estate field and has been since 1997, resident legal writer for New Homes and Condos, Resale Homes and The Condo Guide magazines. Mr. Schwarz has written for the Brampton Guardian, Real Estate News and the Toronto Sun. In addition he has spoken on a regular basis at the Tarion, New Home Buyers’ Seminars. His real estate vignettes have been featured on 95.3 the New Country radio station and he has appeared and spoken on Real Estate TV.

Mr. Schwarz has been involved for many years in assisting clients with their tax planning, real estate, financing, corporate and commercial needs using different structures to facilitate smooth and orderly succession and tax reduction. In co-operation with other professionals Mr. Schwarz works with many of his business clients providing counsel on a multitude of business matters working as an integral part of their team.
